Strangers (Insight)

Strangers is a tale of two different types of bad men. Originally, I wrote this story about two killers instead of a including a thief, but I thought a lesser criminal crossing the path of a murderer would make for a better story. It works almost like “instant karma” for someone who had bad intentions for a stranger. I almost kept the original and planned on having two versions of it but decided I didn’t need it; I already have a poem with the theme of two killers meeting titled Black Widow. This poem was heavily influenced by Ross Capicchioni by Joyner Lucas. Based on a true story, it masterfully tells it from two perspectives. The first being the victim’s and the latter being the perpetrator’s. Both sides keep the same general story but incorporate different motives for identical situations. I thought this was ingenious and knew I wanted to make an attempt at something similar. I hope you enjoy reading Strangers by Daniel Peiffer.
