It's so surreal

It's calm and clear

Surprisingly peaceful

Beautiful but lethal

Time has stopped

My heart has dropped

My mind is shocked,

At the serenity

The lake and I have synergy

I can't describe it with similes

Submerging my sorrows,

Drowning my depression,

Killing my anxiety,

Suppressing my aggression,

Water's filling my lungs

I can hear the music playing

My song is almost done

I think about my mom and dad,

About the best memories I’ve had

There's no backing out,

I'm blacking out,

Cleansing the sadness out

I finally found my place,

At the bottom of the lake
